CSA

The Old North End Farmers Market is located less than 500 feet from our door.

I really do need to invest in a camera other than my iPhone.

This is my amazing CSA Farm basket that I picked up from Samara CSA Farm

It included
-a huge bunch of garlic scapes
-bunch of onions
-strawberries
-dill
-spicy salad mix
-swiss chard

Chickens!!!

The strawberries were a giant hit because they were bit sized. Everything bite sized is good in my toddlers world.

Hope everyone has an amazing Tuesday!

Snack attack!

Blueberry cream cheese!

Local cheese

About a cup frozen blueberries. Fresh would be better but these were in my freezer and I'm on this use what I got kick. Where I am really trying to buy less to waste and horde less.

Stolen ideas!

I haven't been blogging for a few days, mostly because I had a very sick toddler. I also have been having a few 'issues' so I am using all of this as my excuse.
Anyhow, after a relaxing weekend at my inlaws in the land of zero cell service and dial up, I am ready to blog!
Little man and I went to the library today. The Burlington library has a radical kids room! I pretty much grab a few books and sit alone while my toddler runs around fondling everything.
My tubular book picks today are:

This book is so freakn cool!
Must do's are:

Great gift idea!

Tonight!

Hope everyone having a nice day! Or at least enjoying a bit of me time during nap time!

Dinner for the fam!

Mac and cheese
- 2 cups macaroni (I used ziti)
- 2 cups shredded cheese
- on can condensed milk
Salt and paper to taste

Preheat oven to 350. Cook macaroni to package instructions, drain and set aside. While macaroni is cooking shred cheese. After pasta drains add can of condensed milk and cheese to pot. Mix a bit then add pasta. Stir until throughly mixed. Add macaroni to a greased casserole and top with a bit of shredded cheese. Cook for 25 minutes.
Enjoy!

Chicken nuggets

Preheat oven to 425. Trim skinless boneless chicken breast of extra fat. Now cut breasts into nuggets.
Dip nuggets into mayonnaise. Lightly coat each side. Dip chicken in breadcrumbs and seasoning of choice. I used a bit of my mother in laws special seasoning, garlic powder, pepper, and Janes krazy mixed up salt.
Bake for 10 minutes.
Whalla dinner!

Do you remember our free loveseat I picked up last week? Well this is it now!

The pictures via iPhone are not really giving it much justice.

Blueberry Scones

My mother in-law  is the amazing cook Kristina Creighton author of Kristinas-Kitchen-Cookbook-. I am very luck to have her for every cooking question imaginable. She also has a vast cookbook collection. I found this recipe in the New Better Homes and Gardens Cookbook. I am on the BHG email list and I love getting there emails and have tried many of the recipes.
Much love! Tori
