From FREE STUFF FRIDAY post two weeks ago.

I picked it up on craigslist for free.
Well my wonderful neighbor gave me some really amazing fabric.

Today I whipped up this slipcover in about an hour.

Slipcovers are totally easy to make, really I promas. I just pretty much pin and sew and cut. Whalla you have a slipcover. If anyone needs a tutorial let me know!
Have a great week folks!

Tuesday...I sew rad slipcover

A couple of years ago my husband and I lived in a little town outside Philly. When I was around 7 months pregnant all I wanted was to decorate my house. That pretty much involved a few trips to the Ikea in Philly.

I purchased two couches from Ikea that don't come with slipcovers. They are white muslin, so of corse they need a cover asap. The other day I purchased this amazing fabric for a ridiculous $.75 a yard.I started measuring my arms and adding two inches. My last slip cover and first attempt the seams split from use and from short seam allowances. So this time I am giving myself plenty of wiggle room.As I have mentioned before i love my pinking sheers.

I pretty much follow a pin and sew method.
