Hey Folks. I'm totally still here after my absence over the last few days. Not long after my last post about Halloween costumes for my dog Sally the wonder pug was stung by a bee. Sally my pug, is highly allergic to bees and went into anaphylactic shock. I gave her medication so she wouldn't die but she had to still be rushed to the vet er to save her life as the shock was now killing her.
She came home yesterday after being at the vet for three days. Our tattoo Gypsy family is so much happier now that the Sally pug is home at last. She is taking it easy this weekend as we too are now that the vet bill has left us broke. But hey I have a pretty big stash and plenty of projects to do so lets get ready for the holidays.
Today I began cleaning out the three boxes of art supplies in the closet as well as just cleaning out the closet. My in laws are staying a week around thanksgiving so getting prepared now is great especially because i would like to be heavily crafting and sewing for the holidays.
I love those Costco Bags. I was totally obsessed with buying them every time i went to costco then poof they stopped caring them. I did travel all about and I'm sure some Costco's may sell them. Anyone want to trade something cool for some new Costco bags? XOXO
I found this amazing little version of the larger storage containers they sell at walmart for .50. What a great little container I though. Thankfully it was nap time while I was searching for something rad to put the pains in.
Oh my mess!
I do have to show off my fabulous fabric stash organisation the other day. This is the top of an old steamer trunk from about 1920. I love the steamer trunks for so many things. And in the lower level I have larger pieces of fabric nestled between my precious china.
A few days later still organized.
Walla my closet is coming along!
Well I better get back to decluttering and organizing.
Love and Kisses.
XOXO

Getting ready for the pug parade
Good morning. As I am very caffeinated this morning and because the lil monster is now in love with Toy Story I have already begun looking for ideas for sally the wonderpug's costume for the PUG PARADE.
This is the wonderpug.
I have a few ideas.
I think I will start with a few things and ideas today. I will let everyone know how I progress as well as a weekend full of excitement from the RENO PET SHOW! Much Love!

T-shirt Flower?
I love the idea of using my scrap t-shirts from the totally radical Recycled Relics T-Shirt Shoppers. Every time I make a new set it I pine over ideas of things to do with the left over scrap. Yes folks I have just completed a new set of bags in this fab shade of pink.
So mostly because I am really trying to make life less stressful and plan ahead for the Holiday season I think a few of these would be great pins. I just need some craft glue. My last bottle exploded in storage, I think it got a bit too warm in the Nevada desert this summer.

BATS!
Halloween is right around the corner, so the lil man and I have been crafting up a storm. Today I made some super radical Bats from black felt.
I am pretty stoked on Halloween this year and decorating for the radical festivities. The lil man hasn't really opened up to costumes but I have a feeling as it gets closer to the date he will get more excited.
Our front room is looking very bleak. Sadly we have had to file multiple police reports for stolen items. To our happy surprise the landlord told us our screen porch will be replaced this next weekend. Hoary for the gypsy tattoo family. I have great plans for decorating the front windows using stencils and some super cool rad ideas. More to come from this future post about decorating and redoing the uber icky B&E sun room.
Much Love
Happy Wednesday!

Crochet School! HELL YEAH!!
While still feeling terminally ill from whatever stomach flu the little man and I picked up I was blog hopping tonight over at Dandelions and Lace.

I am super excited about this! I really need to begin my holiday crafting sooner than later as well as my crochet skills need a bit of help. I have always just thought of my crocheting skills as being very punk rock but sadly I have now realized not being able to read a pattern royalty sucks. The best of both world with Crochet school. I will be posting my progress as well as other cool stuff.
Later Dudes as I am still very ill and not really with it.

I need a FRENCHPRESS
Somehow when we put everything in storage our coffee makers went missing. I say coffee makers because I had three that I have no idea where they went. I am sure that our storage had a few gnomes.
This is the coffee maker we have been using...I picked it up at a tag sale a week ago for $1 Yes I understand that this is a two cup coffee maker. I am making around three pots every morning. Let alone I need a frenchpress.

My Bitchin Chaco's
I do a lot of walking, probably not more than the average gypsy. It does allow me the freedom to eat more than the average person allows themselves of whatever the hell I want.

For years I have been a flip flopper, everything from teva to sanuok to ll bean. I knew that with the mileage I was walking most days I needed to start taking better care of my feet. With the new naked feet revolution I have tried many of the new shoes. Sadly most are either just to odd looking for me or terribly uncomfortable.
So I decided to skip up my looking and become interested with hiking sandals that don't look too butch and are still urban city walkers. I fell in love with Chaco. So today I found a great deal on these....

Not the cutesy green chick ones I wanted but still a rad pair of chaos.
Whoo hoo!

Decorating like a gypsy 101
So, I like to hang things on my walls.

We have totally moved in when our walls are covered with small objects, plates, boxes, large art, small art, mirrors, boards...what-else?
I also do this gather clutter on most top shelves thing...

I made this radical little curtain...

I will totally post better pictures tomorrow. This is my first jump back into blogging after a few crazy months!

Gypsy go home
Wow! Our little tattoo gypsy family has done some crazy traveling in the last few years. Right now we are at our last spot for awhile. The bay area will always be here as long as my wonderful sister in law lives here. Now that my husband and I have our little person we have a empty bed anytime. Lucky for us the hubby can guest spot anytime out this way also.
The tattooed gypsy dad left two days ago for our homeland. In search of housing for the other part of our gypsy tattooed bunch. I am very glad to report that he has found us an amazing little house that is right in our fav part of the old SW. I have been told that drapes are needed for all windows. Does anyone else get excited like me when they hear this? The most amazing fabric store ever is in Reno. Home Fabrics & Rugs
Anyhoo Home Fabric & Rugs is just one of the many reasons I am so excited to go back home to Reno.
My husband works at Reno's first and oldest tattoo shop Body Graphics Tattoo
Come see his work. It's a radical old shop with wall to wall original Pat Martynuik flash.
I miss my gypsy tattoo daddy something bad. Saturday my tubular in laws are driving us over the mountains to Reno. We are actually going to unload all of our storage also. I am really stoked, I miss my sewing machine badly and my fabric stash equally.
I will be posting more I promise !

What what
I totally forgot about how terrible 90 percent humidity feels like in 80 degree weather. It's been hot to say it lightly.
My little tattoo gypsy family has been busy and so has this mama!

Free sheet turned into curtains

Excuse the push pins, I will be hanging these later.
Also free vintage sheet turned into curtain.

My hubbies rad art!
